My wife is recently pregnant with our first child, and we scheduled an initial consult visit with Dr. Cockrum. The appointment was scheduled a month out, and we both requested the day off of work for this special day. Upon arrival to the clinic, however, we were presented with a document to sign for our portion of the entire pregnancy and birth. We explained to the staff that we couldn't commit to the request, as we were considering a home birth and hadn't even met Dr. Cockrum yet. How could we agree to the entire process without even having met her?? They consulted with Dr. Cockrum, and we were told that she would not even see us. At this point, my wife is in tears. The staff? They didn't seem to mind a bit. We were not offered an apology or a chance to speak with Dr. Cockrum. We were simply told that they would not see us. It was truly pathetic. I will never recommend that anyone see Dr. Cockrum, and will do everything I can to spare others this type of treatment.

They always go above and beyond to help me with anything I need. They never complain about anything, and I know I can always count on them. They've never used foul language, which has bothered me at some of the other places I've been too. They always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous. They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. They always return my phone calls quickly. I always know that I'll get a prompt answer to my question.
