In the summer of 2023, I had cataracts removed and lenses placed inside my eyes. I'd worn glass since I was seven. I was now seventy.

For the first time in my life, colors appeared brighter, edges crisper. My world was no longer framed with the rims of my glasses.

Dr. Lynn Polonski, my surgeon, was extraordinarily competent and kind. The desk staff, nurses, Surgery Coordinator Ashley, up to the anesthesiologist who told me jokes prior to my treatment were all lovely. I feel deep appreciation for this powerful and positive change in my life from a competent, and caring organization.

I thought he was very unprofessional..... no one tells you their name or their job title. no name tags or uniforms. long wait time .. staff seemed to be having trouble with equipment..... I had 3 people discuss findings with me and I stopped them and said "that's not my info:" he spent no time with me. no explanation of procedure..i had the cataract surgery and eye still hurts 2 weeks later... I refused second operation. His office manager and Barbara were the only ones with class and respectful...
again, this is my honest thoughts about the poor care from Polansky....

This is the worst place I have ever been for eyecare. The doctor refused to order my soft contact lenses and pushed the hard lenses on me. The office staff didn't read my precious records from my last eye doctor, therefore, they didn't know I was allergic to benzicane and the numbing "cane" family. They tried to dilate my eyes with that and luckily I protested knowing that it could hurt me. The worst place ever!
