After 5 previous back surgeries, all eventually leaving me with pain, being unable to travel more than an hour (car or plane) without severe pain, and having to sleep in a chair for almost 4 years, I was referred to Dr. Porter who did back surgery on my son. I researched his BIO on online & was very impressed with his credentials & his experience. In Feb 2015 he performed my 2nd spinal fusion using the XLIF procedure. This surgery was the most successful one I have experienced, and after healing from the initial pain from surgery itself, in 3 weeks I was pain free for the first time in several years. Not only is Dr. Porter an excellent Dr, I admire his public commitment to his faith. He is patient, thorough, and extremely skilled. I have recommended him to several people since my surgery.

I have been privileged and blessed to have been operated on, not once, but twice, involving my lumbar and cervical spine respectively. Dr. Porter is an outstanding neurosurgeon with amazing skills. He has got to be the # 1 neurosurgeon in the world. I strongly recommend him if you need the abilities a neurosurgeon brings to the operating room, there is no finer!

My golf ball-sized Acoustic Neuroma was diagnosed at a local hospital's trauma center. Their neurosurgeon immediately referred me to Dr. Porter and Barrow Neurological. Before my successful surgery, I was well prepared. From ICU through post-discharge appointments, Dr. Porter has kept me thoroughly informed in a genuine, caring manner. I have the utmost respect for Dr. Porter's abilities and will always be grateful that he was my surgeon.

I recommend Dr. Porter to anyone who has spinal issues. I would not allow any other surgeon to operate on a loved one. He is not only top notch, he is a very nice person. Dr. Porter gave me my life back.

Doctor Porter did a bilateral spinal fusion on my L3/L4. The surgery went great and I had very little pain after the surgery. I recovered very quickly and was back to work after four weeks. Doctor Porter did an outstanding job in treating me and fixing my back!

I'm relieved that I got an appointment within a few weeks of when I needed to. Their staff is among the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I was so happy to have gone to the appointment. It went even better than I hoped for! They put in the extra effort to make me feel valued and important. Their equipment was very advanced and sophisticated. I was very impressed. This was my second Cervical Spine Surgery and I have been in extreme pain ever since the car accident10 months ago. After the surgery my pain has reduced from a 9,5 -10.0 to a 5 in less than 1 week. Dr. Porter is a very gifted Surgeon and there isn't a 6th Star or I would have clicked it. Dr. Randall Porter is a Blessing from GOD
