My teenage daughter was a high school swimmer and had acne. The chemicals in the pool dried her skin terribly, aggravated her blemishes, and made typical treatment difficult and unsuccessful. I tried to make appointments with dermatologists in the Doylestown area, and found that most were not accepting new patients. I ended up with an appointment many (maybe 7 - 8) months out, and when we finally saw that doctor we were not impressed. He barely even looked at my daughters skin, and he made it very clear that "it was ONLY acne". After trying his treatment plan, which did nothing to help her problem, and then not being able to schedule a follow-up, I searched again and found Dr.Spiers. We did not have to wait more than a few weeks for her initial appointment with Dr. Spiers.

On my daughter's initial appointment she was seen by the nurse, then the Physicians Assistant, and then by Dr. Spiers. All three women were warm and respectful, and all understood how difficult it is to be a teenage girl with blemishes. Follow-up appointments have been a breeze also. My daughter is now away at college, and we have not had any problem scheduling appointments during her school breaks. Best of all, the treatment prescribed by Dr. Spiers has completely resolved my daughter's acne!!

I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Spiers, based on the "bedside manner" exhibited by all of the staff, as well as the treatment results.
