When I first met Dr. Dardik, she seemed in a rush. When I told her I wanted to get off the pill because my primary was concerned about my mother's history of breast cancer, she seemed unconcerned. She said there was no proof that there was a danger. I asked about the IUD, she asked me to make another appointment to discuss.

When I had the procedure for the IUD insertion, she warned me that it would feel like horrible cramps. It was beyond excruciating. I've never had a child and she did not provide any local anesthetic. I was screaming from pain and she kept telling me to stop squirming. She did however offer me tissue to dry my tears. She reluctantly brought a nurse in and and sarcastically told her I needed moral support. Once the procedure was over, she left me in the room and the nurse came in to check up on me. I begged her for pain medication and she gave me one from her personal stash. The doctor never returned and the nurse nudged me out of the room after 20 minutes.

I was not prescribed pain medication afterwards.

Way too cold, I thought I would catch hypothermia

Not at all! I had to schedule an appointment for absolutely everything!
