All the old reviews are not true (and obviously at least a couple years old). The office staff is the rudest I've ever encountered in my life. The receptionist at the front tells you that they only accept cash - a way of scamming unsuspecting patients. I paid $60 as a copay, and tried explaining that it's a general annual/routine check up that's covered as wellness care 100% - I checked with insurance who confirmed that the claim was covered in full with no patient liability and that Dr. Kang's office has received the benefits summary that shows I had no liability. This was in February - it is now August. I called back to ask why they didn't refund or credit my $60 copay, and they say it's too long ago - it was 6 months ago. They had the billing coordinator call me back - awful. They make sure you pay in cash so there's no record of how they jip of you.
The nurse is just as rude and has no professionalism. Note that this is a money making factory - they don't care about you. Ask for birth control, they'll limit it to 6 months because they want to get more pay from more visits. They try to take advantage of people with language barriers who require Korean-speaking staff and doctor. Awful - do yourself a favor and use Yelp for a real gyno who cares for their patients.

I was very happy with my visit to Dr. Kang's office. I normally hate visits to the obgyn, but the staff and Dr. Kang were very understanding and sensitive to that and really tried to make it as smooth as possible for me. Considering I probably wasn't the easiest patient, I was very grateful for their patience and kindness. I will definitely be going back there for any future visits that are needed.

They were easy to reach in an emergency. When I called they answered right away and I was so relieved to hear a friendly voice. They go out of their way to make everyone feel equally respected and cared for. I've seen client favoritism at some of the other places I've been, and I really appreciate the extra effort they make to avoid that here. Every time I come here they always remember me by name and greet me as soon as I walk in the door, even if it's been months since my last appointment. They are so thoughtful and amazingly sweet, I just love this place. I don't think I have ever been put on hold here for a long time and am so impressed with how quickly all of my questions are answered. There's nothing worse than having to wait on hold for a half an hour just to get someone to talk to you. The waiting area here is extremely spacious. There is never overcrowding and everything is spaced appropriately.
