The frame on my sunglasses snapped. The lenses were too large for the frames. That happens, I can understand that. However, it has now been 3 weeks since I took them in to be repaired. They are covered under warranty. 3 weeks and I still do not have my sunglasses and they are prescription.

I have had NO CALLS with any feedback regarding my glasses. Such as what is happening with them, approximately when will I get them, if ever!
This is very poor customer service. I had stopped in the office a couple of times and each time, I get the same answer. We don't know. I just can't believe that someone would even dare to say this to a customer and then not get back to them. Also, never once have I heard a "sorry" or some kind of apology. I am going to report them to the better business bureau.

I have to say, however, Dr. Mathieu is a wonderful and professional OD. His staff needs workshops on customer service. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

Upon my visit, I had to wait [I was the only one in the waiting room] for 15 minutes AFTER my appointment time.
THEN... was TOLD to hang my coat in the waiting room. I couldn't find where to hang the coats, [discovered that there were hooks under a window] and then took my coat to the exam room anyway. In the exam room, I was ignored as I made small talk.
The doctor DID his job, BUT.... from there I was left to the woman who filled my order for my glasses. I picked my selection, paid a HUGE FEE and left the building.
Upon FINALLY getting the call that my glasses were filled, I went to pick my glasses up. STUPID [I rarely use this word] is the only way to classified the way the woman who took and filled my order for my glasses.
This WOMAN had me try on my glasses. Instructed me to find the "SWEET SPOT' to try out my new glasses on a "wall hanging:"on the opposite wall. When I TOLD THIS PERSON that I COULD NOT SEE clearly as the glasses were made, her response was to "slide" the glasses down on my nose to see how I could see better.
AFTER pushing the glasses HALF WAY DOWN MY NOSE, she said that THIS IS THE WAY MY GLASSES were suppose to fit. She then told me to 'try' them for a week or two, that 'I SHOULD adjust to them."
I did try them for a week, and then called the office. I was told by my doctor that "If they" grind down" my lenses to make them fit to my comfort, that they will no longer fit my frames."
UMMMM.... I RECCOMEND that NO ONE go to this practice, in GORHAM MAINE
I have to adjust, move, and readjust my glasses on an hourly basis. I AM SO UPSET, SO ANGRY, SO DISAPOINTED in this practice for the NEGLECT that this practice performs.
In fact the day of my eye appointment I mentioned to the Doctor, that there seem some "dissension" amongst the staff. His reply was that the office was experiencing some staffing problems and that they had some new employees that were in training.
SO I will no longer visit this practice. IN FACT I have told DOZENS and DOZENS of people that they too should ADVOID this practice.
ALL I WANT is to be able to have GLASSES THAT FIT!
IS this too much to ask of a practice that I have SPENT HUNDREDS of dollars too?
