When I was pregnant with my first child, I had transferred doctors so I could see Dr. Pitt. Her office was 5 minutes down the road from where I was all the time, and I had wanted to deliver at Milford Hospital. Around 18 1/2 weeks through my pregnancy, I was in a car accident. I was rushed to the ER so they could check on the status of my son, and make sure he was okay. During this time, they found Choroid Plexus Cysts on his brain. I spoke with Dr. Be lady, who said that it doesn't look like anything major, but due to the fact I had been having problems with bleeding throughout the pregnancy due to a Protein C Deficiency, and the fact that my fiancé's mother had an issue with these cysts while pregnant with him, she recommended we come back in 4 weeks to make sure they are either going away, or are completely gone. She told Dr. Pitt this so they could schedule my appointment in a few days.
I got to her office a couple days later, and she was refusing to allow us to get them checked up on, because she "didn't think I needed to". This was the first and ONLY time I saw her during my pregnancy. None of my other appointments were with her, and when I had any complications from the bleeding, her office refused to let me come in to make sure everything was okay.
Fast forward to about 29 weeks into the pregnancy. I had been having contractions for about 4 hours, they were about 5 minutes apart at this point. I called the hospital to speak with the on call doctor (who just so happened to be her) 3 times before finally speaking with her. The first time, I was connected through to her, and hung up on once the phone was picked up. The second time, the phone disconnected due to too many patients calling the line. The third time, she was "busy", and would call me back. I left all of my contact information, and didn't receive a call for 2 hours! So I called again, in extreme pain, and when I finally got ahold of her, her response was, "You should have called sooner"!!!! I was furious at this point, but eventually came in. We had 3 nurses and a midwife in the room with us once we got situated in the room, when they all agreed that an ultrasound should be done in order to check the status of the baby. She came in, refused, and was very unprofessional while she was there. Not only did she not know I was her patient, but refused to tell me what was going on, and kept trying to gossip with the nurses, who were trying to be as professional as they could. She was rough when conducting an internal exam, and when I told her I was in pain, all she could say is, "It's not that bad". Turned out my son was dehydrated to the point it could have been risky, but I wasn't. So they pushed multiple bags of fluids for a few hours to rehydrate him. Dr. Pitt after performing her "exam" left, and didn't say another word to us the entire time we were there. A couple days after that, I was back in the hospital because I hadn't felt my son move the entire day. I called her office, and they basically told me to go lay down and if I still don't feel movement by the next day, then they'll schedule me to come in during the week. I knew that was the wrong approach, because I had already miscarried prior to this pregnancy and was NOT going to risk that. We called the hospital, who told us to come in IMMEDIATELY. This was our last straw with Dr. Pitt. The next day, I had called to get my medical records released, for I wanted a consultation from Dr. Jeng, who works through the same hospital. Dr. Pitt's office refused to let me have any of my records, and refused to let me see another doctor. The new office had to call corporate to get my records pushed through, because her office would not do it. And this wasn't the first issue they've had trying to see Dr. Pitt's patients. After explaining to Dr. Jeng all of the issues, she was appalled that she hadn't sent me to see a high-risk doctor earlier in the pregnancy, after knowing all of the issues we had been having. After her office had to call corporate to receive my records, I got a letter in the mail stating Dr. Pitt will no longer be practicing at that practice as of December 24, 2015, and that all of her patients needed to find new doctors. Upon seeing that, it was like a huge burden had been lifted off of my shoulders. I spoke with an attorney, and they suggested we file a suit for malpractice, due to the fact I now need to be put on blood thinners for the remainder of my pregnancy, and many of the issues we've had could have been avoided had she checked, like any good doctor should have.

I wouldn't recommend her to my worst enemy.

They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. The girl that answers the phone cane be rude, and testy. She was not patient when helping me over the phone. She failed to help me understand the process of the way treatment is ordered , then became agitated with me. She was not professional at all, but
I love the Dr. Pitt. Her personality is great. I was very satisfied with my visit. They were helpful and I left feeling encouraged. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. I'll definitely be going back. I didn't have a bad experience.
