I was a paitent of Dr Oberti III for many years. I never felt confident in his ability to handle an emergency situation, but because I believed he was such a nice guy, I ignored my instincts. This year, my husband went to him with lower abdominal pain that didn't improve over days and was worse after pressing on it. My husband never complains, so one would think his doctor would know him well enough to put up a red flag. Well, he told him to take 800mg of Ibuprofen for the pain because it was probably muscular. Even though my husband told him he hadn't done any abdominal exercises in the recent past. So 4 days later, my husband's appendix ruptured and he was septic. The doctor never even did some routine testing to determine if it could have been his appendix. Even though that was what he went to the doctor to determine. Then he never even acknowledged his negligence.

To make matters worse, we were applying for life insurance 4 months later, the company financially compensated him for his time and ink to make copies of his records. Over 90 days later! and he STILL hasn't sent them.

Also, over the past year, my husband and I have seen patients complaining and leaving his office for a new doctor on several occasions.

STAY AWAY!
