They either didn't read my information or didn't pay any attention to it. Even though they had my information right in front of them, I kept having to explain it to them and remind them why I was there. The waiting area is rather small, but there is always a seat available. It would be nice if it was more spacious, but I've never had to stand. Their staff was friendly enough, but they didn't go out of their way to help me. I was given a brief greeting when I walked through the door, but no one made any sort of effort to help me. I felt ignored. Dr. Gittens was told I was alleric to nickel, it was included in my file. For some reason he put two screws in my foot and a ion in my second toe. A bunion on the first metatarsal was repaired and an oversized screw placed in my foot. My big toe now performs as if it were double jointed. I had a hammertoe on the second metatarsal. A screw was placed in my foot between the 2nd and third toe but in the foot. My foot is deformed, insatiable, in constant pain, gets purpura, looks worse than before and feels far worse than before the surgery. Dr. Gittens had me remove all my clothes and fondled me to allegedly check my posture. Ist incident was at the Riverside location, 2nd was in Westerville. When John the nurse saw the gown on the table and I told him why it was there, he was extremely surprised, got red in the face, said a bit to the nature of that not being necessary. I think he may have feared saying anything. I went to Dr Gittens Westerville location long after the follow up visits are covered by insurance. I brought it to his attention the issues I was having He admitted the screw he placed in my foot was too long and replied " well we would have to surgically remove it" as if to say its just going to be more pain for you. My toes are a mess. I am highly upset. I have called the office several times for the film of my foot(its on a disc) placed several calls with no return call, until I mentioned the message was recorded then I got a call back yet still no film. I left a message on the office managers phone mid day today 8.5.11, briefly addressing some of the issues her name was Lisa M. no return call. I went to jeff Gittens brother mark to see about my shoulder and he was worse than Jeff. I would take a kitten to the Gittens. The sincere interest of the patient isn't in their area of expertise. Still not happy and plan to act....
