I have had several surgeries by Dr. Stearns. All were successful and I am about to have knee replacement. As you can see I trust him.

I would NEVER recommend this doctor to anyone! You only see him, if you're lucky, the day of the surgery for about 5 minutes. He doesn't return any calls, whatsoever, & I only left 1 message asking that he call to discuss my husband's care. He prescribed a medication that the nurses were injecting into his I.V. every 2 hours and the day before he was to be discharged, he "coded." ANY Dr. should have known that 3 of my husband's medications were contraindicated with what he prescribed. Then, 2 weeks after having broken 2 bones in his leg & both bones in the back of his ankle, this Dr. expected him to be out of pain with only 8 to 10 days of pain medication & 3 Physical Therapy visits. He also had an infection, aside from the surgery were the steel rod was inserted in his leg, that his Nurse Practitioner didn't even run a blood panel or swab his leg to check for bacteria! It's been a total nightmare!!

I'll definitely be going back. I didn't have a bad experience.
Dr Stearns and staff are very efficient and professional. i have been a long term patient since 2005 and sent co workers to his office.

Dr. Zack and his staff were very friendly and appeared genuinely interested in helping the patients.Each treating member of the medical staff invited and answered all questions. the scheduling nurse was attentive to accomodating personal scheduling needs as well as the availability of surgical times and made sure, before we left the office prior to surgery, that the procedure was scheduled at a convenient time for patient and family. When they were dealing with a patient, pesonnel gave their undivided attention. The staff, on the whole, were very conscientious and professional in their collective approach to patient care. I was completely satisfied with the care received and have, on many occasions since, referred Dr. Zack to others in need of orthopedic treatment.

Not only do my appointments never get canceled last minute, they take time out of their day to send me a reminder so I don't forget. They are extremely reliable. They've never used foul language, which has bothered me at some of the other places I've been too. They always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous. I didn't have to wait at all after I arrived for my appointment. They were running right on time, which is a really big deal for me. The one thing that I really enjoy about this place is their high level of customer service. Their full attention is always on me and they never take personal calls during my appointment. I've been to other places that answer their phone and it just drives me crazy. I am always so impressed with how quickly my calls are answered here. I am never put on hold for a long time and love knowing that if I have a quick question I won't have to wait a half hour through terrible music to get it answered.
