Exceptional Pediatric Physician. He saw a true need that our family had with our son's illness.(the unknown) He put together a team of his colleagues including himself to help us get to the bottom of why our son kept getting worse even with us taking him to numerous other physician's. With his care and treatment professionals our son is still sick, but is improving now. It's slow, but coming along. Dr. Miller is a "5 Star" Pediatric Physician.

DO NOT even bother with making an appointment with this practice if you have Tricare regardless of whether it is your primary or secondary insurance. If you have Tricare they will refuse to see you. My son was referred by Children's Hospital to see Dr.Miller after he had a first time seizure and an abnormal EEG. Two weeks after his seizure we went to his scheduled appointment. When I pulled out my Tricare card the staff got rather rude. They said they did not take in at all, even though I have BCBS as my primary. They explained rather rudely why they could not take it and faulted my sons's PCP office for not telling them I have Tricare. They refused to see my son at all, would not even allow us to pay cash for the visit that day. We will be seeing a neurologist in Chatganooga whose office is happy to see the patient of anyone who has ever served our country!

I arrived early for my daughter's appointment and no one was staffing the front desk. I signed in and the front desk staff never called me after they returned. I had to check in with the front desk staff after waiting 45 minutes to even receive paperwork to fill out. The staff seemed annoyed and grumpy, not at all helpful and polite. After finally getting to see Dr. Miller, he seemed to not listen to me and the involved medical history that my child has. We already had a plan for treatment, from another neurologist, but have just moved here and needed to switch to this office. We just needed to get him on board and have a local contact for neurology issues. Dr. Miller was not open to collaborating with the team of doctors that have already seen my child, and wanted to take the reins himself. I was very frustrated. I'm not impressed with anyone in this office. If I couldn't find anyone better, I'd return again, but I'm hoping I can find better service somewhere else.
