This is one of the worst experiences I had with an ophthalmologist. The office is overcrowded and they give appointments that the office cannot accommodate. Some patents are standing and some are waiting outside the crowded waiting area. The girl in the front desk is very helpful but seems like she is badly exploited. She welcomes the patents, answers the phone, verifies the insurance, makes appointments, etc .. and I felt like she handles the work of three different people. After waiting about an hour past the appointment the nurse took my wife in for the examination. My wife had her glasses unchanged for about 5 years and she wanted to make sure the glasses are alright for her. They just claimed that she has 20/20 vision in both of her eyes and no need to do any further exam.
When we met the doctor later the real reason was revealed. They can’t bill both of my insurances (vision and medical) at the same time. He mentioned we can first get the treatment for the sty and then come later for the eye exam. Why telling all the non-sense if that is the real reason. I will not buy the claim that 20/20 vision proves there is no issue with the current glasses. The treatment for the sty is a surgical procedure which we tend to agree with the doctor. But given the way his office operates, we’ll never go back here and recommend anyone to this office.

Beware of this establishment! When I first went to Dr. Huynh's office the staff accepted my insurance card and said I would be covered for my eye exam. I paid my $15 co-pay and a $99 fee for a contact lens fitting. Then out of the blue, 14 months later, the office bills be for another $135 dollars. I called to find out if this was a mistake and the office staff told me that they were unable to collect money from the insurance company because I gave them the wrong insurance card. I was in complete disbelief because I specifically asked if my insurance would cover my visit when I made my appointment and the staff said yes. Unfortunately the staff continued to blame me for the mistake and insist that I pay. In my opinion this is no way to run a business. Needless to say I will never go back to this doctor. After the way Dr. Huynh's office staff have treated me I feel like another nameless faceless victim of medical/insurance system.
