I looked up Dr. Davis online, and based on what appeared to be good reviews and references, decided to use him for my vasectomy. My initial consult was thorough, and gave me more confidence in my decision to go here.
During my procedure, I actually blacked out, in what Dr. Davis referred to as a vasovagal reaction. According to Dr. Davis, this is not the norm, but that he had seen it before. OK, no big deal then. But after the procedure, I was left to recover, in the operating room. After about 15 minutes, I still wasn't feeling much better, and asked my wife to get the nurse to get me a drink of water. Then I found out that the only way I could get one was if they washed out an office coffee mug, and got water from the sink of the bathroom. WTF... Left the office after about 20 more minutes, did the standard recovery at home, and went back to work after 3 days of icing and rest.
Now, almost 4 months later, I'm still having pain in my groin. I've been back to the office to try to get this straightened out, with no avail. I don't have any sex drive now because of the pain it causes me to do so. (I'm only 34, should have some sex drive left).
I wouldn't recommend this office to ANYONE. (Plaza, or Olathe)
I'm now looking for a specialist to reverse this apparent hack job.
Be careful who you choose to do this type of a procedure, and don't base your decision on what people online say in their reviews.
