Astoria health care : will like to answer a review done supposedly by a family friend. Why you did not print your name. This is from the management, Dr. Hernandez does not need patients or you visiting her home when you speak with such dislike about the Doctor. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT VISIT THE DOCTOR AND DONT BE A COWARD AND STATE YOUR NAME , so the doctor knows what kind of a person you are. And YES DOCTOR HERNADEZ nephew is her patient. We really do not appreciate you and neither Dr. Mastakouris who also would like to know who you are in that way you are NOT ALLOW IN THEIR HOME.

Dr. Hernandez seemed capable, covered all the bases and worked quickly and efficiently. I wouldn't say it was the warmest personality, but she was polite and friendly enough. I was perfectly satisfied with the experience.

The wait, however, was LONG, and the waiting room isn't the most pleasant.

WARNING : Dr.Hernandez Milagros (UNCARING) is THE WORSE DOCTOR AND HAS THE WORSE STAFFS IN ASTORIA. MY ADVICE TO YOU: NEVER EVER GO THERE OR YOU WILL REGRETTED. I am a pharmacist, I took my mom there. the waiting time was more than 1 HOUR, the doctor barely had time for us. the staffs were rude. she prescribed a VOLTAREN GEL for her osteoarthritis . I told Dr. Hernandez that it's not gonna be covered and it requires Prior Authorization, she said we will get it for you. The prescription has been sitting in the pharmacy since June 8. The staff are very rude and very unprofessional and very uncaring (IOANA, ANNA, STEPHANIE) and never got the prior authorization for my mom. Uncaring doctor and staff like this should be banned from working in health care field.

I happen to be a close friend of the family and decided to see Dr. Hernandez. She was very rude, arrogant, and lacked knowledge I felt a physician should have. She put me on medication and never paid attention to my labs to see the harm the meds were causing. Also, I find it strange that one of these reviews was written by an under-aged family of hers that never saw her as a doctor. As a person I get along with her, but as a provider I would NOT see her again.

They were the most respectful, courteous doctor I've ever been to. I was shocked by how much they knew about the latest medical advancements and treatment options. It was obvious that they put a lot of effort into continuing their education. They always have an immediate answer for me when I call with a question. They would never try to get me to make an appointment unless I really needed one. I've never had a doctor make me feel more respected than they did. They always address me by name and make me feel important. I would choose them over anyone else in the field, and I can’t wait until my next appointment.
