I had been suffering and limping with sharp pains on the top of my foot for near two years. Dr. Hyland explained that he thought it was muscle related and suggested I try generic inserts before investing in custom ones. They are called "Super Feet" inserts . He told me where to buy them in a shoe store in the Rio Del Mar shopping center (Aptos,CA)
These inserts have worked wonders. They seem to be arch supports. The best $65 I ever spent. Immediate relief and within two weeks I was nearly pain free. If I stop wearing them the pain comes back. I can't thank Dr. Hyland enough for his counsel and wisdom.

Dr. Hyland was caring and had good ideas for me. I saw 3 podiatrists before him, and was at the end of my options for chronic plantar fasciitis and possible foot neuromas. He is a kind, smart Dr who takes the time to explain and collaborate on useful treatment options.
