I have been going to this office for several years. I have been satisfied until now. I recently had surgery and Dr. Smith Jr. did precisely what I ASKED him not to do. I just thought I had had a problem prior to this surgery but it is nothing compared to the problem I have now. My middle toe sticks up, I would say it is probably 1/2 inch off the floor when I stand flat footed. One month post op, I still have no feeling in the top of the toes or the top of my foot. One area above the middle toe (which was a problem from the last surgery) only required removal of scar tissue, but he took it upon himself to do a hammertoe surgery on the middle toe as well as the 4th toe (which had nothing wrong with the toe) and put pins in both toes. I can barely raise my toes upward and cannot bend them down at all. If you have problems with your feet I would recommend you find an find an orthopedic surgeon-WISH I HAD.
