About 3 yrs ago I had spurs taken off my heal by this so called Podiatrist. About a week after surgery I called the nurse telling her that the cast was too tight and it was hurting me. I went in for them to check the cast (I was only seen by this nurse) and she said "it is wasn't too tight". A few days later I called back and spoke to the same nurse, again saying there is something wrong , she said "the doctor was out of town golfing" I then had to listen to her tell me how her husband was on antidepressants and he was going to be going back to work at the casino very soon. She also told me her sister just had a new baby. I really did not want to hear about her personal life, but it seemed she needed someone to talk to. About a week later I called back, spoke to the same nurse, she said that I would have to "deal with it". I remember going to bed on many a nite crying and telling myself I only had so many more days before this cast was to come off and this nightmare would be over. What happened to me was... I got nerve damage from this cast compressing on the bones in my ankle and foot. Still to this day my foot feels like pins are sticking in my foot. I have tried everything I can to make this pain go away, but it is permanent, I WILL HAVE THIS FOREVER. Constant zinging pain up my leg and I also have this terrible feeling that this cast is still on (phantom pain) If I over use it now, I get real bad charlie horses in my calf that wake me up at nite. Even a mile walk is too much for me. ( I used to run and walk 4-5 miles a day before this surgery) I would not recommend this practice to my worst enemy. I just wish this Podiatrists (I can't even call him a doctor) and his so-called nurse ( I don't think she even is a nurse) knew what they have done to me and my quality of life.

My 7 year old daughter had an appointment to get an ingrown toenail removed. She was not cooperating the best, so at the second attempt the doctor just ripped his gloves off and walked out. His nurse turned to me and said "This OBIVIOUSLY isn't going to happen today."

I called back the next day to talk to the doctor about the appointment and I got the nurse that was there. I apologized for the way my child behaved and she said there was no need to apologize because they deal with kids ALL the time. I then attempted to address my concerns with the way everything was handled (the doctor walking out, and the way she talked to me). At that point her whole demeanor changed, and she then said "Well, I got kicked by your kid 3 times and I'm not saying anything about that!" I told her "you just did," and I asked her to have the doctor call me back; not to discuss her appointment, but to discuss the phone call I had with the nurse.He never called back.

When I called back over a week later to find out if the doctor returns messages, his staff member told me that he would charge me an office visit if he returned my call. She said it was because he decided not to charge the insurance for my daughter's visit.

I never called back and will NOT ever be returning to that clinic.

I left it at that. Absolutely ridiculous and does not honor what it quoted on their website.

Their staff is very friendly and professional. I was in a lot of pain during my visit that I feel could have definitely been avoided if they had been more careful. I don't know of anywhere else that would've taken better care of me. I had a great experience.
