Went to Dr. Joyce for a 2nd opinion. He's a very upbeat guy. He listened to my concerns and what I thought was going on with my foot, looked at previous x-rays, and considered where the 1st cortisone shot was delivered. He advised against the recommended surgery (yay!) and instead gave me a (2nd) cortisone shot in the area he thought would make the difference. It worked! Yes, the surgery may have corrected a different problem, but that wasn't related to the pain that was bothering me. He saved me from unnecessary contact and expense with the health system, and took the miserable pain away.

Dr. Joyce is a smart guy, with a good sense of humor. He knows his stuff, I like him. He took time to ask some thoughtful questions when I first brought him my hammertoe, and it's getting much better under his care.
The office is easy to find, with ample free parking too.
