I visited Dr. Childs at the Apopka office. I was referred to him by another doctor, who was unable to perform my surgery. They scheduled me an appointment right away. The staff was friendly, courteous, and accommodating. The office was clean. There was no wait time. Dr. Childs thoroughly answered all my questions and explained the procedure. His surgery schedule was booked due to the holidays, but he worked me into the schedule that week. His surgery center started early to accommodate me. The surgery center staff was also excellent. I had severe pain after surgery. He saw me outside of office hours to change my medicine. Dr. Childs is the most compassionate doctor I've ever seen. I highly recommend him and his staff.

The cologne they wore was absolutely terrible and almost unbearable. They should have considered their clients before putting it on. It was not easy to reach them in an emergency. I had to call several times before I finally reached them. They consistently dismiss my concerns and accuse me of making problems up. I don't trust them to ever actually look into my concerns and see if they're valid. Dr. Childs removed a bone spur on the top of my toe after telling him that my pain is the lower ball of my foot and between the two toe joints. He said If he removed the bone spur my pain would go down to a 0-2, with in 6 weeks. Its been close to five months now, Im in far worse pain then before the surgery. So he drugs me up on the high'st xanax there is and tells me to go see anouther doctor. I lost my job last year, sold my boat and anything I cold to have the sugery done and now he wants me to see his doctor friend that cost $450.00 just to walk in the door. Very,very poor Doctor.
