Dr. Merritt gets extremely upset if the patient does not agree with all of his decisions*. I went to him only the one time, in the past.

He demeans and he also offers unnecessary surgery, when he gets upset.

I have never been to a doctor like this one. If you find that he dislikes you*, then get another doctor's opinion elsewhere and use the Internet for other information that may help you make the right decision for yourself.

I needed help with a stubbed toe that was aggravating me. I went to Dr. Merritt he said he would fix it. He fused the toe crooked when I called to tell him I was in pain the sluffed me off. Finally I was in his office with a friend and he started yelling at me "Do you think this was my fault?" I needed him to wrap my foot to stop the pain he refused to help me unless I would say he had not caused the problem. He is a runner he has to understand how important mobility is. I went to several podiatrists to fix it they wont touch it. My foot has been in pain since the surgery years ago, I could never again wear heels, and I have a misshaped foot. I visit in his office ensured I would never walk right again. All because I asked him to repair 1 joint on 1 toe.
