Dr. Geller is incompetent. You should not trust him with your child's care.
His staff was neither friendly, smart nor caring; I really didn't feel welcome there. They barely gave me any information at all. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. The chairs in the waiting room at this doctor's office were the cheap plastic kind. My back started to hurt while I was waiting. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. They are completely inadequate. I couldn't find anyplace to sit down in the waiting room that looked clean. Gross!

Dr. Geller has very little understanding of insulin pumps and defers all questions to the manufacturer's rep.s who are better suited to selling pumps than setting them up.

Plenty of good pediatric endos in Los Angeles. Please choose one of them instead for the safety of your child. I recommend Dr. Kevin Kaiserman.

Allow time for traffic, as their office is off a busy avenue far from the freeway exit. Older office in an older office building, but tidy and well-kept. I appreciated that they allowed me to accompany my 7-year-old daughter, and didn't make me wait in the waiting room. Dr. Gellar called me after hours to relay her test findings which surprised and pleased me. I was very grateful. For us, though, he was too cautious in his approach and I felt put down when I asked for more tests and asked lots of questions. He took a wait-and-see response to her condition and her symptoms rapidly deteriated. I couldn't face his condescension again, so we went to another p.e. whose approach aligned with our hopes. We felt respected when we asked questions and expressed concerns and his answers were clear and made understandable to a layperson, something that Dr. Gellar seemed unable to do. It is obvious that he is a very intelligent person, but we were unable to get explanations that were understandable to us and we had to google what he told us.
