In my opinion Dr Cary is a QUACK!!! The only thing he cares about is the DEA coming after him! He is not a compassionate doctor by any means. He doesn't care of how you feel or gives a crap about your opinion! With each month and each visit he would tell me " there's nothing I can do for you except to refill your script" I've been seeing Dr. Quack for almost 2 years now. I have a spinal injury for the last 13 years, I also have degenerative disc disease. And yes I'm on a fair amount of pain medication but I still functions throughout my daily task and I stay very active and without this medication I might as well become a couch potato, be in alot of pain or give up life. And since I wouldn't give up the vicodin in exchange for a VERY high dose of oxy he will not see me anymore! I have been on the vicodin for over 10 years, I know what works for me. Again since he's so paranoid about the DEA coming after him and give me my walking papers, I am glad to go because he is not a caring doctor at all !!! So if you're looking for a caring, compassionate doctor keep on looking!

The staff is horrible in processing paperwork. Do not expect a prompt referral. The staff blames each other for delays. As for the doctor, his big thing is go to physical therapy. He was of no help.

I went to Dr. Cary for a second opinion. I have multiple herniated disks, extreme mid and lower back pain that shoots down my right leg, and have no function in my left leg. Again, I went to Dr. Cary for a second opinion. However he refused to see me because I am on narcotics to handle the pain, and am already being treated by the VA. This combined with the paperwork that you have to sign stating that you will only take the meds he prescribes, and that he will not sign any paperwork for disability, workers comp, or anything else that may possibly end up in court tells me that he isn't competant in the first place. So basically, this guy won't take any serious neurological case, nor won't back up his practice in court. Not a doctor I would want anyway...
