I've been going to this practice for 15 years in two different locations and have referred my friends and family there as well. It's true that Dr. Hsu is not accepting new patients, but his wonderful NP's are. They are friendly, brilliant (Yale, Columbia, and NYU graduates, Dr. Hsu from Harvard), and super-experienced (10-20 years in practice). It is clear from day 1 that the NP's serve as your primary care provider, and for urgent matters and if your NP is on vacation, you can see anyone in the office including Dr. Hsu depending on availability. For complex issues, Dr. Hsu is called in for consultation as two (up to 4 in the practice) brains are better than one in my opinion. This office is the first "truly excellent medical care" that I have experienced. This is why they are busy - because over 2,000 people LOVE them. Although initially not the greatest front desk staff (particularly one), the front desk has been reorganized with much improvement in service and phone answering and there is a new office manager. The office is warm and beautiful, and ignore the rude review about "money making" as they are part of a non-profit organization AHF. Can't say enough great things about the very friendly medical assistants who always make you feel comfortable as well. Please note the office address listed is incorrect and over 1 year old. The address is 352 7th Ave., STE 1205, NY, NY 10001, same telephone. You'll be part of amongst the best medical care in the city.

Dr Hsu is a good knowledgeable dr about hiv. He lost his vision, hes does not care anymore about his business, he is tired. His office is badly managed, very rude receptionist. Long waiting time. All it comes down to dollars now. Overcrowded and oudated. Time to move on. It's a hard sad decision but the time has arrived.

I knew I was getting top-of-the-line treatment when they told me about what they learned at the latest conference they attended, and how they were incorporating that knowledge into the practice. They put in the extra effort to make me feel valued and important. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. They were by far one of the best I've ever seen in their field. It was obvious that they've been exceeding their clients' expectations for many years.

The entire team is cohesive, efficient, and friendly - and hard working. They put their patients first, and make an extra effort to get to know their patients and find out what they need. I tend to ask a lot of questions and appreciate that they are always more than happy to answer them, and actually welcome questions. It's a solid health-care experience with a smile.

Both Nurse Practitioner (Eric and Eric) are completely skillled and dedicated and thorough. If there is a scintilla of doubt about anything, they immediately check with Dr. Hsu (who in my experience is frequently around.) The NPs explained all the risks and benefits of my treatment options. Everything was explained in detail, all my questions were answered, and I felt a lot better about choosing a treatment plan. I love how much attention to detail they show. They are always so careful and meticulous. I never have to worry about them making a mistake or forgetting something. The waiting area is rather small, but there is always a seat available. I never had to stand. They're always able to answer simple questions over the phone. They only make me schedule appointments if necessary.
