They were late a few times to my appointments. I wish they had made more of an effort to be on time. I spend a little too much time in the waiting room. I've waited longer at other offices, but I was hoping to be seen sooner. Every time I'm put on hold here I have to wait quite a while for them to get back to the call. Although I have had to wait longer at other places, I was still pretty unimpressed with their phone etiquette.

The front office staff is rude ! I had to call back 4 time becasue i was hung up on while being transferred and each time i called back whoever answered had a very nasty attitude. When I called to schedule an appointment I was told " for billing purposes you have to schedule 2 appointments because we can't charge you 2 co-pays in 1 day. " ( Well women & specific labs ) . That was the 1st thing that upset me because what i was asking went along with the well women exam but i scheduled the 1st appointment anyway. (labs) which didn't seem right because i am a new pt.. H ow do they expect to get/keep pt's if they seem to only be worried about billing purposes and not the pt ? while talking to the pt with an attitude? I called back a few days later because this appointment i scheduled didn't make sense... The person scheduling the appointment said she was going to transfer me to a triage nurse 1. because when shee looked up my info she said I have to do the well women exam 1st and i said fine but why can't I also have the labs done on the same day, she once again said " for billing purposes" then she tells me to hold while being transfered. ( the whole conversation she had a nasty attitude ) she hung up on me. I called a total of 4 times after that and was told to hold then hung up on, the last time as soon as she answered I told her NO! just cancle my appointment because if this is how the front office treats pt's I don't need/want to come into the office. The person that answered the phone was acting like I was forcing her to do her job and not just the 2nd time i called but from the 1st time i called the office. And for them to tell me I schedulled the appointment wrong when i called back a couple of days later is crazy because whoever schedulled the appoint suggested I schedule it that way eventhough it didn't make sense to me. Maybe they need to be retrained or better yet replaced ! someone else would be more then happy to do the job with a smille on there face as well as in there voice that fron't office staff in Altamonte seem to be bothered by doing.. 1st impression is everything !!! I have heard nothing but good about DR. Sweet but due to the unprofessionalism of the front office staff I will not go to his office !!!

Dr Sweet is a wonderful compassionate Dr. But his staff leaves alot to be desired. You call his office and wait almost 10 mins to talk to someone. Then when you do they are rude and short. I was in the hospital and the er Dr. told me to follow up the next day with my regular OB and his staff told me under no circumstance could they fit me in. Even if I waited. Even after the Er. Dr. called and my PCP called I still was not able to get in to see any of their Dr.'s and was told that I could have a appointment next week. So I made the appointment what choice did I have. I was in pain and was in the hospital of 2 days with a ruptured cysts and possibly damaged ovary. But whats on week right, so I make my appt to be phoned a hour prior to my appt and told that I don't need to come for my visit it the pain is not sever because they had a very booked schedule and they were not sure if I would be able to be seen today. After I took the day off from work. I wonder if Dr. Sweet knows how is patients are treated??? Then since I am so not happy with his office I am transferring to another office and they want to charge me a dollar a page to fax my records to the other Dr. What is that, I mean really had you been a little nicer and professional I would not be transferring so why should I give you more of my money. And why pay to fax its not like you are using any more paper??? If anything I should pay my new dr. to recieve the fax its there paper that is being used. Very disappointing. I will never go back.
