Dr. Yong is very knowledgeable and willing to share her experience. When we needed her advice, she responded promptly and carried through her care during the entire process to make sure that every step was done properly.

Dr. Yong is a very caring person. My two-year old son had a very bad fall and his forehead and nose got several large scratches from sliding on a cement floor. Dr. Yong gave us very detailed instructions on how to properly treat the wound to avoid a scar and diligently checked on my son's progress. She also explained the reason behind each step taken. Within just one week, all the wounds had healed without any visible scars. Nobody would believe that his face was full of scratches just a few days ago since there were only two small areas of light red new skin on his face. It is like a miracle and we truly appreciate her help and knowledge.

Dr. Yong is a superior doctor who has helped me tremendously at a consistent level. Earlier this year I switched health insurance companies and found her practice on their website directory. I called to make an appointment and the receptionist added that Dr. Yong also specializes in sleep disorders and nutrition as well. I’m in my mid-thirties, not overweight, and have had high blood pressure for years. I made the appointment because my blood pressure was through the roof even with medication and I had a recurring, really bad headache for weeks that hadn’t gone away. The thing that scared me was that I rarely get headaches. I don’t eat out often and I keep my sodium levels low. I have sleep apnea but never use my c-pap machine. It just pumps a bunch of air all night, which I couldn’t get used to.
Dr. Yong really impressed me with how she got to the root of the problem. She didn’t just prescribe me new medication and told me to eat healthier. She sent me for blood work, a sleep apnea sleep study (which is done in her office), and referred me to specialists. Soon enough, after all the tests, I was diagnosed with moderate sleep apnea. She ordered a bi pap machine and I picked it up at her office. The machine is so much better than the one I had because it regulates airflow to the point where I don’t even know if it’s on because the air pressure is really low in the beginning. One of the things I like about her office is that everything is there. She even has a nutritionist that comes in to give counseling at her office.
After a few months of sleeping with the machine, my blood pressure dropped significantly. On average it has been 130/70. I’ve taken my sleep apnea more serious and improved my adherence to the machine. After seeing the nutritionist, I increased my daily intake of fruits and vegetables. I went crazy and became a vegetarian and started jogging over 30 miles weekly. She is a well-rounded doctor and her staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Yong pays attention to detail and truly cares about her patients. She takes the time to explain what is going on and doesn't rush you out the door. Dr. Yong is by far the best doctor I’ve ever known.
