A last-minute appointment request that was received and accepted. You (Dr. Dykema) ensured that the information pertaining to the FAA was checked, verified, and presented as required by the FAA for the medical portion of my record.

read the reviews on this doctor before you see her
on rate this doctor and other web sites she gets a very poor rating I saw her once and don't have anything good to say she refused to treat me stating that she didn't think we would have a good "relationship" and that I should be "grateful" she was seeing me and "grateful" she was going to treat me [then refused to treat me] I left this doctors office without being helped at all

I'm changing doctors after a second opinion. Dr. Dykema is not geared to Geriatric patients. Her DO practice is geared to Family.

So rude, short,and doesn't seem to care about people. Very quick 15 min. appointments, and doesn't really ask questions or let you speak very much.

I saw Dr. Dykema for the second time today. I have documented hypothyroidism, GERD, fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. After the first visit, I embraced the plant based lifestyle Dr. Dykema prescribed. I have already lost 9 pounds and have stopped taking medication for GERD. However, I am having a terrible fibro flare-up and have had to miss some work, which is what I am seeing her for. I applied for intermittent FMLA because I don't want to lose my job while in the process of trying to get well. When I presented the paperwork to Dr. Dykema, she stated that she's in the business of getting people well and back to work and does not fill out FMLA paperwork for anyone. Although I appreciate her philosophy, there is definitely a disconnect between it and reality. The reality is that until I AM well, I need to be covered by FMLA so I don't lose my job.
