They seemed like they were using fairly modern treatment methods and procedures, but I'm not really sure. The office was easy enough to find. I got an appointment quickly. At my first appointment the doctor answered my questions perfunctorily, but dismissed my major complaint (painful knees) without bothering to examine them. He seemed more concerned about making sure that my preventative care tests (mammogram, Pap smear, bone density, etc.) got scheduled than he was about my acute complaints. He seemed extremely non-proactive with regard to diagnosis and treatment of acute medical conditions. I left the office feeling very uncomfortable and unsatisfied. Within a few weeks, my knee pain became more severe, so I made another appointment. I waited over one hour past my appointment time in the reception area, and when told by the staff that they didn't know when I'd be able to see Dr. Blackburn, I left the office. At a follow-up appointment, the doctor handed me a low-fat diet education sheet, told me my cholesterol was too high, and when I told him about the previous week's unproductive appointment, he simply said that such delays occur sometimes. I again complained of the severe knee pain, so he simply looked at my knees without any physical exam, and said that it was arthritis. He didn't offer any sort of treatment or advice. The medical charges for these appointments were not billed correctly, and it took several months to get things straightened out with Medicare and my insurance company. I am currently seeking a different physician, and do not recommend Dr. Blackburn to anyone.

They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. Their staff was friendly enough, but they didn't go out of their way to help me. I was very satisfied with my visit. They were helpful and I left feeling encouraged.
Now Dr. Blackburn has moved from 3107 W. Camp Wisdom left no address to find him and no working phone number except ringing of the phone no answer. Trying to reach for an appointment, for Adrian Payne who is or was a trying to get in to see him ASAP.
