In my opinion, this doctor lacks strong clinical assessment skills. He appears able to diagnose very basic health issues. If you know what is wrong and what medication you need, it is likely you will be pleased. If you are unsure of what your injury or illness is, are looking for anything other than routine care, or are seeking a doctor who will be aggressive about catching and responding to potential life threatening crisis/issues, you would likely receive better care elsewhere.

I would highly recommend Dr. DeForest. But beware the office staff is not nice. They are always messing up with prescriptions and billing. They appear to not care. They do not want to pull up chart Information, or schedule appointments. They have been nasty to my spouse and myself 9 out of 10 times. They talk about each other in front of patients. I am so sad because I really love this Dr, but have to go to another Dr. where the staff treats us better.

I was having upper abdominal pains so i decided now that i have insurance i should pay some attention to it. Dr deforest rushed through the examination and came to the conclusion that it was arthritis in my ribs. Did not want to do any tests for blood or anything. Ended up getting a second opinion. Turns out i have pancreatitis. Don't trust your health in this incompetent doctors hands. Oh did i tell you that the office visit was $200? Avoid like the plague. And if you have the plague go somewhere else!
