My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Kobobel as our primary care physician, for 5+ years. Both of his offices in Merritt Island and Rockledge are equipped as urgent care facilities and can perform immediate onsite testing, which is super convenient. Dr. Kobobel is passionate about helping his patients, is medically current, uses the latest technology, and is open-minded to “safer” treatments. Office hours extend through 7PM and they’re open on Saturday. His rates are competitive, his medical staff is efficient, courteous, compassionate, professional and knowledgeable. You can make same day appointments or be seen on a walk-in basis (I’d recommend calling first, so you don’t have to wait).

You get put on hold forever before you even have a chance to speak. One month later now, I have been trying to get a pre-authorization for a prescription for a week. I have called multiple times and keep getting told it would be done soon.

I initially and subsequently explained to them that I was told by PA Xavier to come back in after a month of being on the medication for blood work and that I was leaving the area the end of March. They promised they would expedite the pre-authorization. I called almost every day for a week and every time was told it would get handled. A week later I am told now that the paperwork was just submitted yesterday. I will not be able to have my blood work done now here because I still don't have the prescription.

I will be finding another provider after this transaction is complete.

Although I like Dr. Kobobel, I found it very difficult getting our paperwork and prescriptions completed/filled by the staff. I've had appointments with specialists cancelled as their office did not send required pre-approval, even though there was over six weeks between when the apt was made and the apt date.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! I started going to the merritt island office in January when my Dr had retired. Ive seen 4 providers over 3 visits, and saw the Dr once. I have had problems with EVERY VISIT. I just recently picked up a prescription renewal and noticed that the dosage had been DOUBLED! I was concerned, and called the pharmacy. They said that it was increased per the Dr's (provider's)instructions, and that I shouldve been made aware of this change. I called the office, and there was NO record of any rationale of why this was changed. I was told that it must have been a "typo"!! To me, a mistake of this magnitude is NOT a "TYPO". I cannot switch Dr's soon enough. This is a WALK-IN MALPRACTISE CLINIC in my mind. BEWARE!

Very Disappointed. my boyfried was seen here and the guy he seen was drunk we thought. Come to find out he had been in auto accident and was on meds or something. Now I am going there to give them a second chance and still disappointed. Theres a intern guy in there who talks as if he knows everything about referrals. Been waiting on a referral for 2 weeks. It doesnt take that long for an insurance company to say yes or no. When talking to this guy he talked down to me not knowing I have prior medical training with referrals. Come to find out I called another office and confimed that he is wrong.This office needs to hire better staff that knows there stuff. The PA that seen me she acted if she didnt know what she was doing. This was enough for me. DONT GO TO THIS CLINIC.I would never recommend this clinic to anyone. They are completely inadequate.
