Very disappointed. The receptionist would not book me an appointment because I "didn't have a referral". The whole point of making the appointment is so that I could leave my current doctor. This in not the 1950's where patients are not aware of the care they need. So irritating. It sounds like to me that he doesn't really "want" to see new patients unless you have gone through his "special" review. Actually - that's what the receptionist actually said "Dr. Grua reviews each case before he decides if wants to take you as a patient." Really? I have to try out to be your patient? Wow - no thanks! You aren't that special.
