I was diagnosed in a medullary thyroid carcinoma after an ultrasound and biopsy tests. Dr. Louis Christensen, endocrinologist showed the highest level of professionalism, ordering all necessary scans and blood tests based on the initial results, and in couple weeks I was ready for my thyroidectomy. He and his team were always on top, keeping me informing and giving recommendations. I had an appointment in Boston Dana Farber Cancer Institute for a second opinion, and a doctor there told me that Dr. Christensen did excellent job and did everything what was possible for the surgery preparation. My surgeon, Dr. Perminder Parmar also said that Dr. Christensen is a brilliant doctor. Dr. Christensen and his nurse Betty always kept me informed in test results as soon as they received them. I was very stressed over diagnoses of the medullary thyroid cancer, but felt assured by his care and dedication.
I will really recommend Dr. Christensen and his team for anybody who is looking for extraordinary professional and very personal care. He is The Doctor you can trust.

I had a hysterectomy a few years ago and have been on bio-identical replacement hormone replacement since then. I also have hypothyroidism. I moved to San Diego and looked for an endo. My current course of treatment works for me. I just needed to get my blood work done (as I do at least twice a year) to make sure my levels are good. Sometimes the meds need to be tweaked a bit. This doctor piffed poffed bio-identical hormone replacement therapy and actually told me to, "Tough it out". He actually told me that having my hormones compounded was anti-aging medicine. I had a hysterectomy! When he examined me he told me my thyroid was slightly enlarged so I needed an ultra sound. When I seemed alarmed because I do get checked frequently, he stressed not to worry. I truly believe he was just trying to bill up insurance because my insurance is really good. Even when I told him that I take Armour because I don't convert T4 well, he switched my meds to synthetic meds. This doctor can not see out of the box he has put himself in. It's his way or no way at all. I was in tears after I left. If you would like to be treated in a factory- one treatment- for -all, go to this doctor. I'm looking for a new one.
