He seemed to be in an extreme hurry and spent very little time actually with me. Bedside manner was very rough and is something he doesn't seem to be concerned with. Probably very knowledgeable and good technically but hard to find out as he is very busy and doesn't have time to spend making you feel confident.

Dr Gunter is a great doctor. He knows what he is doing but he is very straight forward. He missed the bedside manner class when getting his doctoral degree. He has a lot of referals so be prepared to wait a while. The waiting room has plenty of magazines to read.

I have not visited this Dr. before, but when I called to get an appt, I couldn't get one for the day I wanted because the Dr. "wasn't in Lancaster" on that day. Thinking that I might be able to go to where he would be on the day I wanted the appointment, I asked where he was going to be on that day. The receptionist replied that she could not give out that information! Why not? Isn't it my perogative if I want to travel farther to see a specific doctor? I thought that was very strange.

I believe that Dr. Gunter is a good doctor with low-to-average bedside manner, but my problem lies with the way he (I can only assume it is he) has instructed his office staff to manage and schedule patients. If you are not the first person of the morning you are liable to have a 60-75 minute wait. I find the unacceptable. My time is just as valuable and important as his and I would like to be treated as such. I have schedule a mole check three times now and am considering a referral to another doctor just to not have to be treated this way.

It's shocking how little they seem to care about customer service. From my experience It appears as if customers are never put first here. The staff is incredibly rude and seem to care more about themselves. Most of the time, they don't call me back for quite a while, but they've called me back quickly once or twice. I didn't wait long at all. My appointment started on time, and the wait was much shorter than other offices I have been to. I wish they would have been a little more friendly. I didn't feel very welcome. They had quite a few interesting magazines, which made my time in the waiting room go by much faster.
