I have gone to see Dr Gross for many years and I do like HIM. However The Staff at the Chesapeake Office have called Me and Cancelled 2 of my Appointments, they just left messages about the Doctor being Out, and I should call and reschedule.... I have called the Office 7 Times, No one Answers, just a recording saying they are too busy and Call back in a Few Minutes.. REALLY Did it ever Occur I might also be Busy??? After Physically going into the Office and hearing I can't see Dr Gross until Feb. 18th, after already being put off twice, I am calling another Dermatologist. I don't have time for this!

the office sees so many patients a day, possibly too many, trying to take care of everyone... but I like him.
I have found that if you get ticked at having to wait to see the DOC (not the students) then make your appointment for first thing in the morning... if they come in at 0900AM for instance, make yours the 0900 AM appointment, problem solved.

Approx. 8 years ago, horrible experience with Dr. Gross with permanent damage. After having several bs cancers removed from face, asked about unrelated dark areas at inner eyes. Long story short, he injected juvaderm (I knew nothing about juv.) all over my face. Horrible bruising for weeks. I now have permanent swelling under my eyes. I feel like a guinea pig as he obviously didn't know what he was doing with the way he proceeded. Was told if not happy, money refund. NO REFUND though.

Well I think the care I received was fine, it is getting to that point that worries me. My appointment was for 10:40. I always go in early to fill out paperwork for a first visit. I was not seen until 12:20 ..I feel it is unacceptable. I finally got back to a room at 11:45 and still sat in the room 35 min. I had another appointment at 12:30 and one would expect lots of time to make it to the next one. No one even said, "Sorry for your wait". That makes me believe it is an everyday occurrence and they are just fine with that..

No; the equipment needs to be updated

Never. I don't think they care about helping their clients save money

It is impossible to get an appointment at their office. They are always booked and have a long waiting list. I had to wait forever after I arrived for my appointment. They were running really behind and I was disappointed because it threw off the rest of my day. It was nice to hear how much the staff respected them. It made me that much more confident that I was under the care of a professional. They were far to arrogant to get any sort of outside advice, even though they knew they should. I was hoping to see someone that considered my safety more important than always having an answer. Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there.
Waited an hour for one of his nurses, not the doc. They said they were a specialists office, that was their excuse for being slow. I was in there maybe 5 min. with the nurse. That includes getting my problem fixed. People weren't happy when you told them this, so they're not interested in improving either.
I had a problem with brand to generic change, took a week to get it straightened out. Had a problem with the attitude in the office on that.
