My husband and I needed to reconnect and learn how to thoughtfully communicate our needs to each other again. No one teaches you how to be married but finding the right support can certainly put you back on track by being stronger and wiser. Josh most certainly helped us have the hard conversations but feel comfortable being open and honest with each other. Our marriage is now on a new level and we could not have achieved this without Josh's care and guidance.

We went to Josh for couples counseling and worked with him on communications issues. My husband and I immediately felt relaxed and at ease. It took several sessions for us to get at the root of our issues. We both had intimacy fears, which kept us from being closer. During counseling, we were able to express our feelings and clear a lot of old stuff out of the way. It was well worth the investment of time and money. I think both of us learned some new things about each other. Highly recommended

Josh Nelson taught us how to be better with each other! He is a wonderful relationship counselor. We really don't know how to thank him! He helped us a lot and his marriage counseling skills were the reason we avoided divorce! After all of our conversations with him, we understood how much would be lost if we canceled our marriage. Thank you for everything!

We went in for pre-marriage counseling and it really helped us address issues before they became problems. If you are thinking of getting married it's really important to iron out any bumps in advance. Josh helped us tremendously! We both travel a lot for work and needed a flexible arrangement. He was very accommodating and understanding. Great experience.

The best relationship counselor out there. He will give you tools that will actually make your relationship work instead of having you sit in a session debating about who is right or wrong. Strongly recommend Josh Nelson to anyone interested in improving their relationship or keeping a relationship together. He’s the best!!

Josh was referred to us by our friends during a huge marriage crisis. In just a matter of a few months Josh was able to give us the tools to really work through this time both in and out of his office. I really appreciate Josh's style and it worked very well for us. He has a process lined up for each sessions and a structure set up so I felt we accomplished small steps each week that led to our healing. The tools he gave us we will hopefully continue to use even when we are finished seeing Josh. I also liked that he had an end in mind for us in terms of number of sessions and was really able to adjust his style for us individually. I would refer Josh to anyone at any time.

Josh is AMAZING! My wife and I have seen Josh regularly for about a year, and now see him just every once in a while. The transformation in our marriage and intimacy level is something that I couldn't have even imagined a year ago. We had been to other therapists in the past and found ourselves even more at odds with each other. But Josh does not overlook any detail or waste any of your precious time when it comes to getting your life and marriage to the place you want it to be. I feel like we owe Josh the world because more than a year ago I thought I was certainly going to be a single again. We have also referred him to many other couples and everyone that sees him has been very thankful for the great referral. And the funny thing is we don't really plan on referring him, but our friends see the dramatic change in our relationship and want to see him for themselves!

We're getting married in two months and we just wanted to make sure we ere making the right decision. Josh helped us go into our upcoming marriage with greater confidence and love than ever. The best thing about him was that he was present with us on an emotional level. He never pushed us but just helped us get in touch with where we were at with no pressure. Our issues came out but were able to deal with them in a calm manner, not with a lot of screaming and yelling. He created a safe space for us to really make progress. Highly recommended.

My husband and I went to Mr Nelson and in 15 minutes he told my husband get a divorce. We walked out and I was in tears. He was so unprofessional and rude. I don't know how he is in practice.
