The office is a little difficult to find and there was no receptionist to greet me or tell me that I was in the right place but once Marge emerged all was well. She is a lovely therapist, very kind and professional. I came upon this sight while looking for her contact information. I will definitely see her again as I have in the past. She was very helpful to me finding peace with a difficult time in my life.
The office was not well marked, and she offered no instructions on how to locate her building or office. When I arrived at her office, there was no one to greet me, and I had not been told she shared the small office space with several other people. There was just a small waiting room with a bunch of closed doors, so there was no way to know on which door to knock.
When she finally came out, she called me by the wrong name. When I corrected her, she said "I was close." Then, she did not have any of the paperwork ready for me, and seemed very put out when I asked for copies. She was completely unprepared. I asked her to tell me about her expertise, and I was not confident she would be able to help me.
The office furniture was mismatched and poorly maintained. The couch was well past it's prime, and I sunk in, almost unable to get back out. I also felt that she wasn't dressed professionally. She was very casually dressed, wearing clogs or gardening type shoes and a well-worn top. When it was time to leave, she wanted to have me pay for the next session. She never asked if I even wanted to see her again, she was insisting it would happen.
She did not listen to me or help me with my problems. I had to repeat myself several times. She kept interrupting me and suggesting things I had already told her I had tried, and she blamed others rather than help me with my issues. She gave more advice than asked questions. I left feeling very frustrated and angry at her.
I would not see her again or recommend her to anyone.
