I have been coming here for about 16 years for 2-3 visits a year. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. I schedule my next visit before leaving, and I always get the appointment time I want. The service is great. Rarely does a dentist do your cleaning, but that's how it is here. He is kind and attentive. You don't get a lecture, but just good instruction on how to best care for your teeth. He will stop during a cleaning to see if you need a break. Amazing!!! There is one receptionist, rather than a bunch of different people. She is friendly and efficient. It is such a pleasant place to be. I don't hate going to the dentist like a lot of people.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Cantor for about 5 years. We often remark that going to the dentist now is more like going to hang out with a good friend. We have long discussions about our children, our Philadelphia row houses, work, the city and so on. Parking is not an issue because we take the 9 bus to 20th St. and walk the additional 10 min. or so to his office, which is just 2 blocks from Rittenhouse Square.
Suzanne, the receptionist greets us warmly and courteously and makes us feel welcome as soon as we walk in the door.
Because this is a small practice, we never have to wait, have never had a cancellation, and feel that our particular concerns are listened to and addressed in a professional, caring manner. Dr. Cantor handles all the work, from cleaning, X-rays, to fillings and other issues. He also teaches at Temple dental school, so we are confident that he is current with dental practice.
Our expenses are covered by our medical plan, so I cannot comment on the rates for various procedures. However, because Dr. Cantor performs all the work himself, I am guessing that his overhead is lower and therefore, his rates are competitive.
All in all, Eric Cantor is just plain excellent and we highly recommend him.
