I would definitely NOT recommend this dental practice. I went in for an abscess on my tooth, they took an x-ray, poked for a second, then told me that I needed to have the tooth removed because there was "no bone left". I scheduled the extraction, received an Rx for an anti-biotic, then I promptly called a dentist I trust for a second opinion. He referred me to an Endodontic specialist, who after more x-rays, looking at me and performing some tests, told me that the issue is with the gums, and the "deep pocket" is closing. So if I had not gotten the second and third opinion I would have lost the tooth. I will NEVER go back to Carmichael Dental. Each time I have been there they push expensive procedures that are not covered by insurance. As soon as I am eligible I will be changing to better dental coverage, but until then I will pay out of pocket to see a real dentist who is more interested in my oral health than their pockets.
