After I retired from State service in 2008, I decided to change dentists since my dentist was in Sacramento (I've lived in Newcastle 28 years). I decided to go with Dr. Holm. After a few visits, they determined I needed gum surgery. I delayed this because of the expense. I was on vacation until March 2013 and had received a reminder postcard to have my teeth cleaned. I didn't go through with the surgery and when I called to get my teeth cleaned (since it's been almost a year), they denied me that. They said there was nothing they could do for me. I said "your kidding?", I guess I need to get a new dentist....Darlene hung up on me. I have never been denied a teeth cleaning because I didn't get the surgery immediatly. Monwey is tight whether you have insurance or not. For this dental office to refuse my teeth cleaning is unacceptable. How dare them. Off to search for a new dentist. Also, the person they referred me to for surgery was late for my consultation appt about 1 hour and then she came in and looked at me for 1 minute or so, not friendly or personable. Disgusting. Sorry Courtyard dental, my business with you is done.
