I did long distance consults with Dr, Seidman over a course of months last year. It was very difficult to get appointments. Seidman went back on every promise he made to me. He offered to support me emotionally (he told me I could drop an email or call to say hello any time, and if I ever had questions to just ask) but he'd snap at me when I asked for help. He constantly asked to promote his cult-like school. Being star-stuck, I did promote him publicly (I became a certified fellow in his program and spent over $4000, but was thrown out because I outed his secretary for embezzling money -- he was selling a $10 app that went to a fake non-profit). The herbs Seidman prescribed had very bad side effects 75% of the time and almost never worked. I initially thought it was my fault, so I studied harder than any other fellow and did everything I could to save my health. Seidman commonly refused to answer my questions. Instead, he'd ask me a "mystical" riddle in return to avoid the truth: he didn't have the answers. I used to worship Dr. Seidman, BUT between the $4000 I spent on his fake school and getting kicked out because I DID THE RIGHT THING, I've come to think of Seidman a deeply dishonest con artist whose fame has gone to his head. I remember, at one point when I was struggling with the most with severe chronic pain of my life, to the point of losing the will to live, I reached out to him for help and he blew off the seriousness of my condition, telling me I was watching too many action movies (I don't watch TV). He calls me improper and inappropriate because I don't fit the mold of how he thinks a woman should act, according to his Confucian beliefs. According to my beliefs, this is not how a doctor acts...and this is not how an institution of higher learning functions. Real educational systems can't kick a fellow out and revoke credentialing because of hurt feelings. Real professors answer their student's questions. Finally, a real doctor keeps in mind rule #1: Do No Harm. As it turns out, the Hunyuan school is not a real school: there is no prerequisite to get in except $4000 of tuition.
