Lorraine Mulvihill, RD., changed my life, saved my life multiple times and gave me a second (or third or fourth) chance at life. I don't even know where to begin.. Lorraine has been my dietitian for almost 6 years. She has seen me through two residentials and many many inpatient stays, and 6 years of eating disorder hell.

When my first therapist discontinued her practice in 2007, I was devastated, but she referred me to Lorraine and promised me she was leaving me in "good hands" I was skeptical at first but Lorraine is the best thing that could have happened to me in my recovery. She is a strong, inspirational and loving person. Lorraine is someone I'm so glad I have on my team because she gives me guidance and keeps me accountable. She has changed my life b/c she fought for me when I didn't think I deserved to be fought for and cared about me more than I cared about myself and most importantly she never gave up on me.

She has helped me in every aspect of my life. I want to honor her with my recovery, and I hope I make her proud. As the journey continues, I am excited for what I will accomplish with her knowledge as my foundation. I know that when I am in a really bad place with ED, one visit to her can give me enough strength and hope to pick myself up and start over. We have made many meal plans and talked about all the facts but more importantly, she has been someone I can talk to about my feelings and struggles and I feel like she truly understands me. I don't know what I would have done without her and she has been so vital to this process - more so than my therapists, because without the guidance on how to eat (hence eating disorder) I would have just traveled down the same path of restriction repeatedly until it would have eventually killed me. I can't imagine trying to recover without a dietician. And everyone in the area knows that she is the absolute best in the field.

I would not be in recovery or maybe even alive if it weren't for Lorraine. She went above and beyond what a dietitian's job description is. When no one believed in me or my ability to recover, Lorraine always did. When everyone thought I was okay because my weight was normal, Lorraine saw right through the bullshit. When I tricked everyone, I did not trick Lorraine. She is THE ONLY woman (besides a certain psychiatrist), who has never given up on me or abandoned me because of my eating disorder. If I were asked who the most influential person in my life... I would say Ms. Lorraine Mulvihill. Today I can confidently say that I am alive because of this amazing dietitian. She puts in a gazillion hours and gives 250% of herself. She has gone above and beyond for me. She was awesome when I texted or emailed in a panic because I was so freaked out about eating that I was sending myself into panic attacks. She would from time to time write back with a bit of encouragement or a challenge or idea. I am so thankful for her presence in my life and even after she is no longer an active presence in my life, her influence on me will always be there. THIS DIETITIAN CHANGED MY LIFE. I don't know what I would have done without her when I look back... she's affected me much more than she knows!

He/she would never do that! Their full attention is always on me.

Lorraine is absolutely amazing. She saved my life. She treated me respectfully and with kindness, and didn't unnecessarily fluff up her treatment with flowers. I had an eating disorder, and thanks to her, I am now confident in my body's ability to take care of me as long as I take care of it.

There is something very special about Lorraine. She goes out of her way to answer your questions, address your needs and work with you where you are at. I immediately felt a connection when I met her, and completely trust and respect her as a dietitian. She has a great deal of experience and seeing her is always a good experience. I highly recomend her to anyone looking for a compassionate individual whose knows what she is talking about!

I noticed an almost immediate improvement in my health when I started visiting them. I couldn't believe how quickly I started to see a change. I always have the best experience every time I have an appointment here. Although I have not had much to complain about, I have noticed that they strongly adhere to the customer is always right policy and if anything goes wrong make every effort to correct the situation. They have some of the best customer service I have ever seen. Putting their customers first is definitely a priority here and it shows. I knew I was getting top-of-the-line treatment when they told me about what they learned at the latest conference they attended, and how they were incorporating that knowledge into the practice. They always have an immediate answer for me when I call with a question. They would never try to get me to make an appointment unless I really needed one.

Not at all! There's absolutely no way I could've met my health goals on my own

Yes

Yes, they made sure I had everything I needed!

They were one of the kindest, most caring staff I've ever dealt with. It didn't matter how many times I called with a question or concern, they were always happy to help me. The waiting area here is extremely spacious. There is never overcrowding and everything is spaced appropriately. They really go above and beyond to make me feel special. I've never been anywhere that seems to care more about their clients than here.
