You will not find a better and more compassionate neurosurgeon than Dr. Laohaprasit. If I were only rating him, would definitely give 5 plus stars. However, his "personal assistant" was difficult to work with and during one phone conversation was incredibly rude to me over an insurance issue that ultimately ended up being her mishap. Several members of my family, including myself, have had spinal surgery with "Dr Lao" and I wouldn't consider seeing any other neurosurgeon than him. General office staff were all nice; however, the person that handles getting things approved through insurance should be replaced.

The person in billing was somewhat rude, the other staff were just OK.

Dr. Lahaprosit took enough time with me and even though the surgery didn't help as much as expected and resulted in some new pain, I feel he is a good surgeon and may have slowed the progression of my disease. He is also a nice person.

I have had 3 sugeries over the years with Dr Lao, and he is an excellent surgeon. Two times I needed 5 disks in my neck fixed, they were very badly herniated. I also once had a compressed ulnar nerve in my arm that prevented me from moving 3 of my fingers. His surgeries did an outstanding job of restoring my health and movement of my fingers. I had tremendous pain from the herniated disks and the ulnar nerve, and the pain was greatly relieved, I was healed, after his surgeries. I have talked to many health professionals, and many people since having my surgeries done, and ALL of the people hold him in the highest regard, and said he was the only neurosurgeon they would ever go to! I want to make clear these surgeries were over a period of time, and I had tried other things, such as physical therapy, and surgery was my only option. I would definitely go back to him and I very highly recommend him. He is also a Christian, and I am too, and it's an added benefit to know that your surgeon has the Lord's guidance as well.
