I had read some rather harsh reviews of Dr. Cofield but found him to be friendly, professional, and quite personable. I was very pleased with his service and willingness to explain things during my appointment. I will be going back if I ever need a dermatologist again, and recommend him without hesitation.

I made an appt. with this practitioner for a skin condition that was on my right lower leg and ankle. I was told by the assistant to disrobe and put on a surgical gown before Dr. Cofield did an assessment which is standard procedure. I did not disrobe completely because I felt it wasn't necessary since the affected area was easy to access without doing so. When Dr. Cofield began his assessment he noticed that I still had a few pieces of clothing on under my surgical robe and said in an angry tone, "You were told to disrobe completely before I entered the room...what is it about that that you didn't understand?". I was floored and immediately felt that his hostility was unusual and inappropriate. I explained why I didn't feel the need to disrobe completely but that didn't matter. He refused to listen to any of my symptoms, cut me off when I tried to answer his questions and in a condescending manner offered a few unhelpful bits of info while angrily signing my prescription. He gave me the impression that I had just wasted his precious time but had no problem charging me over $200 for the useless assessment he gave me. I also had to deal with a very rude and angry accountant regarding some insurance billing/payment issues too! I wouldn't recommend this place or this doctor to any of my friends or colleagues. In my opinion, put your money, time and trust in a health care professional to better use and go elsewhere.

I usually have to wait on hold for quite a while, but not as long as some other places
Was this provider willing to stay open late to accomodate your needs?
Not at all. They closed early even though they knew I needed help
Did this provider prominently display their diplomas or business license?
Not very well. I had to really look for it before I found it.
Does this provider always put the customer first?
Somewhat, but I didn't feel like they cared about my needs
Are you going to visit this provider again?
Not if my life depended on it

Yes, the office was well organized and taken care of

All of my questions were answered during the appointment, . I love that I can count on them to work with me until they find a solution for my situation. . They listened closely to everything I was telling them, and showed a lot of attention to detail. I've never had to worry about them forgetting something or not reading my information correctly.

It was easy to get the appointment time that worked for my schedule. They are always prepared for my appointment and remember everything about me. I didn't wait long at all. My appointment started on time, and the wait was much shorter than other offices I have been to. They always take that extra step to make me feel special. I always enjoy my appointments here.
