Doctors are fantastic; office people are horrible.
We have taken our son to Dr. Emmerich since he was born. We have seen several of the other doctors in the office as well. All of the doctors are fantastic. They take their time, are thorough and never rush you out of the office.

The front desk people and call-in folks are horrible, rude and insensitive. We have had several issues.

My son had very bad abdominal pain a few months ago. We called and they said they could get us in if we could get there in 10 minutes. Luckily we're only 5 minutes away. We arrived and they have me fill out a medical history form. Did I mention we have been taking my son there since he was born? I fill out the form and hand it back to them. They then ask me for my insurance card. In my rush out the door I had forgotten to grab my wallet so I didn't have the medical card on me. My insurance hadn't changed. They had the information. They told me they couldn't see my son until they had the insurance information. I spoke very sternly when I told them we had been coming there since my son was born, have never NOT had insurance, my insurance had not changed and they WILL see my son. I let them know how disappointed I was that they were more concerned with the dollar than they were with taking care of children. They got my son in right away.

Here it is several months later and my two youngest appear to have pink eye. We call to make an appointment and they inform us they have "kicked us out" of their clinic for rude behavior. We will miss the doctors but not the front office staff.
