Waited hours to see him and had an in office procedure done at 11:30 at night. No one was there with myself and the dr not even staff and I'm a female. That is a very very stupid move in this day in time for him and pt.

The worst staff ever, not friendly, not helpful, waiting for a Rx to be called in for 4 days now. They would rather play on their cell phones than help you, they leave your call on speaker....HIPPA violation!
The first visit was great, confirmed a difficult diagnosis, now the visits are maybe 5 minutes, he carries your chart and his laptop yet looks at neither and asks the same questions. If you have new symptoms he doesn't care. Will do absolutely nothing to help with getting pre-approval for tests, so does absolutely no follow-up testing. I think he enjoys the challenge of diagnosis but doesn't like patient care. I will have to find another neurologist to ever get proper treatment. His office hours are after 7pm, I was still waiting at 11pm and this is every visit! I was put into the hospital for pain control, it took 7 hours for them to get his orders!

It took months to get in to see the neurologist and then when we had bad weather, slick roads because of snow and ice, I called to reschedule and it took over a month before my appointment. Bad enough I'd already had to wait over 3 months for my first appoitment. Then when I do go for my appointment I'm told it could be a 3hr-5hr wait from the time of my appointment because the doctor is always on call. I mean really, My back is hurting so bad while waiting, their chairs are very uncomfortable with not much cushion, I am going for my back pain and neuropathy pain, they should make it (easier) a short wait on a person with alot of pain, do they not realize how much a person is hurting while waiting so many hours just to see the doctor and it makes it worse while waiting you get frustrated and stressed cause all you want to do is go home and cry because you hurt so much. My point is if you're on call 24/7 7days a week why do you even have a clinic and make patience wait so long to get in to see you when they are in excrutiating pain. Then when I do get in he's asking me all kinds of questions for which I understand why so many questions, but when you answer and try to explain the answer, he's rude and tells me just to answer yes or no. I've been to quite a few neurologist and none so far have helped me with my pain and thought this doctor was the one. Well after my phsycal I have to wiat over a month to get a EMG done and then another month for my next appointment to get my results and see what the doctor thinks, I'm sorry I could be dead between now and then cause the pain drives you to so much :( I hope with this review I don't get treated ugly.

In order to visit a neurologist in Amarillo, you will have to wait months. However, I went in to the doctor's office with an anticipated wait. After a 2-3 hour wait (sometimes longer) and sufficient, but somewhat unprofessional staff, Dr. Sudhakar proves every time that he is worth the annoyances. I love his bedside manner, his desire to make me comfortable, and his ability to answer all of my questions promptly and confidently. He was very good during my hospitalization as well, making daily rounds, arranging tests to make me most comfortable and rested, and he came quickly when any problems arose.
