This place use to be great. I brought my wife here for surgery years ago. Recently, (1-29-14) I brought my mother in for surgery and the experience was horrible! I was told unless I sat in a waiting room (or parking lot) with a screaming baby for two hours they would not do her surgery, although I was only five minutes away with a simple phone call. I understand policy, but everyones circumstances are different. What they fail to realize is they are in a service related industry, so what serves the clients needs best, or the rest of the waiting patients? Would a screaming, crying baby with nothing to do (no baby/kids area) really serve the rest of th clientele in the best manner? No, it would not. Policy is policy, but where is the common sense? I can tell you it is not there. The office manager seemed more concerned with winning a debate, rather than servicing the best needs of a paying client. She waited roughly two hours for nothing. Is that a way to treat an elderly patient? I would not recommend Missouri Eye Institute now. We had a horrible experience! They were not only rude, but seemed to care less whether they got our business or not.
