I went in there with moderate acne at 35 years old. I had been successfully treated by another dermatologist in the past and even told Dr Sanchez what medicine I had been on. I told her they had worked well but my insurance had changed which is why I switched dr's. She completely ignored everything I said and put me on the "latest and greatest" meds. Basically everything my ins wouldn't cover and what gave her her kickbacks. Needless to say, after I year my acne hadnt improved much at all and I was on a rx gel, an rx lotion, TWO face washes and antibiotic pills. Whatever makes her the most money is how I see it.

Although Dr. Sanchez may be competent in her speciality with a Harvard degree, her "bedside manner" needs some attending to. As has been previously reported, she is unnecessarily preoccupied with the time. If you make an appointment, she will only deal with one problem, necessitating additional appointments for additional concerns, 1 per appointment/payment. She seems to ignore questions/concerns, and pushes her own agenda.
She pushes acne prescriptions, and seems less interested in other things. I was misdiagnosed with rosacea, when I actually never had this problem. She is constantly distracted with her watch, and her attention seems to be someplace else.

Definitely not. They seem to care more about themselves

terrible doc...if you want to be talked down to and only see your doc for 3 minutes while she provides meaningless information and ignores you...then by all means go here!!

This had to be one of the worst doctor appts. My daughter and I had both scheduled appointments for a new patient, meaning a complete skin exam. When Dr. Sanchez entered the room, she was constantly interrupting and stating she was only going to look at the acne problem, and she didn't have time to look at anything else. When I told her that was what we made the appt for, she said making the appt doesn't mean anything - you have to then write specifically what you want to be seen for on her green piece of paper that you have to fill out when you get to the office - and if it isn't on that piece of paper, she won't see you for that problem or even discuss it. Also - I have never been to a physicians office who makes you put a credit card down as a backup in case your insurance doesn't pay - Completely rude and the office staff found it too hard to smile.
