Very friendly staff and I really like the Dr Mcain, he always shows concern for any problem I may be having. Sometimes the wait to see him is a little longer than usual but he's worth it.

After seeing Dr McLain for 3 years for treatment of fibromyalgia, of treating symptoms & not the underlying cause, he sent me a letter stating he could no longer offer his services to me. This was immediately after his rude office manager had told me Maybe I needed to find another dr, (she was angry that she was the Only person in the office and having to answer the phone & didn't have the time to look on the schedule to book me an appointment for that week. )
So I just said I would come in and wait if he couldn't call in my meds as he had previously done the month before & then she preceeded to argue with me that Dr McLain had not called in my prescriptions the previous month ( I was in between insurance at the time) when in FACT he had called it in for me, however she said not possible, not office procedure! How can that be if HE INDEED had it called in for me? So instead of calling it in for this month I would wait for 3 1/2 hours to be seen, which was fine. Except for the fact that little did I know it would be the last time as he "fired me" as his patient! Not only that, they kept billing my account with someone else's visits & labs, and when I questioned her about why they couldn't get it straight that's when she told me maybe I should find another DR! Unbelievable!

Things happen for a reason, I am now 100% better since I quit seeing him & quit taking all the drugs he had me on. He never once looked to see if I had adrenal fatigue, A BIG YES I did!
Now by going gluten free, and getting all my deficits in check I am happy to say I no longer suffer. If a dr only treats the symptoms and keeps prescribing pain meds & antidepressants & benzodiazepines, do the research & do your self a favor by saving your money on drugs & copays & get yourself healthy.

Dr McLain is by far the very best doctor in my 50+ years. I am also a former ICU nurse with over 30 years of experience. Believe me, he is wonderful! After over 3 years of seeing multiple MD's he is the only one that actually listened and drew diagnostic lab work based on my symptoms. What a relief to be diagnosed and have a doctor and office staff that care about me and my wellness. You may wait some days more than others but he and his staff devote just as much time and attention to me as well. He is worth any drive, any wait. His compassion and care is second to none. After my first visit I cried once I got home---because I finally felt like someone was trying to help me find answers. He has also experienced what it is like to be a family member of someone with a complex illness and I feel like that gives him a unique perspective. Dr McLain---you and your staff are helping to give me back quality of life and my sanity. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being there for me and making me always feel like a valued patient!! ~~~N.P. Trussville AL
