Waiting in the ER room for a Doctor. I was not feeling good so I was hoping I could find out what was going on. Doctor Murray Baker walked in the room and was facing me. We had a short conversation then I said the word "Internet." All of a sudden he turns his face away from mine as not to laugh in my face. Doctor Baker was actually laughing at me because I mentioned the word Internet. I confronted him about why was he laughing at me? He never said I am sorry or explained what was going on. . How would you feel if you were so sick and just wanted help instead I got a Doctor who thought I was so funny In mentioning a the word Internet. I couldn't believe what was happening. The humiliation and embarrassment and the pain of feeling so bad and having a Doctor look at you and just break out laughing.
This happened August 12.. I had a panic attack because of what I was trying to deal with, and the only thing I remember is asking him why was he laughing at me. I do not remember the rest. I remember the name calling as one was "poor baby" I remember more so maybe someone needs to ask him what all he said and why and I never found out what I was dealing with as I was just wanting to feel better instead I was drugged to calm me down as I was so upset at a Doctor actually laughing at me and the humiliation I felt. I had an EKG because I was so upset and they didn't want me to die on their watch of an heart attack. I remember getting off of the table and wanting to leave. On my way out I past a room the Doctor and Nurse Whitney and someone else were all sitting down. I remember nurse Whitney looking at me and she told me I better not leave (thinking I was still drugged) or I will call the cops. All I needed was some fresh air. I then just walked out and never looked back. I left my paper work and was told a prescription was there for me. How can I have a prescription when he never looked at me in treating me. The only reason I went to CLH was I was to dizzy to drive to my Doctor in Marianna. The Hospital is sick, so how does a sick Hospital treat a sick Patient? People this wasn't my first rodeo with the CLH as dealing with a corrupt and lies I dealt with three years earlier.
I know I am not the only one who has been mistreated one way or the other at the Blountstown ER. How would any of you feel having a Doctor just break out and laugh in your face a he quickly turns it.
