Dr. Dhaliwal is a wonderful Retina Specialist! I had surgery for a macular pucker! He is very calming and explains exactly what he is going to do during surgery! His staff is excellent also! I would recommend him to anyone needing a specialist for their eyes! He is a great doctor!!

I have had several eye issues over the years . The doctor has operated on both eyes due to retina tears, scar tissue, a macular pucker and most recently a flawed cataract surgery. Dr. Dhaliwal has corrected all issues with accuracy and skill. I have a great respect and admiration for him and his talent. Yes, the waiting time can be long due to patient emergencies, dilation time and the fact that he only comes to our town once a week and has a lot of patients referred to him. Overall, the end result that you can see well again is worth any inconvenience.

Have been seeing Dr. Dahliwal for years. The is wonderfully professional. Extremely knowledgeable and and extremely skilled. Yes, you may have to wait. He is after all a retinologist and they treat a wide variety of retinal emergencies where outcomes are related to expedient treatment. If you have to wait, just remember it could be your emergency next time. I have a strong family history of retinal detachments and a history of macular degeneration. I absolutely refuse to see anyone else, as his outcomes are absolutely excellent. He has a wonderful, professional staff. In this day and age the level of professionalism found in this clinic are rare indeed. I am a physician and he is the "retinologist of choice" in medical circles. Yes, sometimes the wait is long but it is more than worth it. He is an exceptional gift to the health of those he treats. He has my great respect and appreciation.

Waited forever for an appointment and the staff does not know time manangement. Was left alone for over an hour after a block and he claimed it was 25 minutes. Staff does not introduce selves by name. After procedure, they state "checkout" and you have to fumble your way to the checkout area after you have had an eye procedure and cannot see. longest waiting times was 3 hours and 45 minutes. Provider does not take the time to really talk with you. I feel as though we are on an assemby line. Always overbooked. Very disappointed if this is "the best" in Augusta.

Dr. Dhaliwal and his staff are consumate professionals, competent and caring. Retina Eye Center is the most effecient medical office that we have visited. When others gave us no hope, Dr. Dhaliwal went the extra mile to save my wife's eyesight from diabetic complications. Until the day she died, she still had her eyesight thanks to him. The staff was like family and the warm atmoshphere he has created in his office with attention to detail for family and patient comfort, is beyond compare. The scheduling and billing experience was the best we ever had. In times of trial, Dr. Dhaliwal and his compassionate staff were lights in a very dark time. Anyone who has retina problems should look no farther than these wonderful people. They were a blessing to us.
